Meet Chef Lerato Umah-Shaylor
Lerato Umah-Shaylor is a food writer, TV chef and pop-up restaurateur best known for her wholesome and contemporary African cooking. Chef Lerato combines local and seasonal ingredients from across the globe with authentic African foods and spices, challenging the perception that African food is too niche to be embraced by different cultures. Her pop-up restaurants in London & Brighton have taken the food world by storm, attracting features from the likes of the BBC and London Evening Standard.
On April 30th @ 4:15pm, Chef Lerato will host a master class at the GTBank Food and Drink Fair, where she will share recipes and ideas that celebrate global African cuisine.
